Tournament Recap: Pokémon TCG League Challenge – March 29

Perfect Order

Small field, big competition! While we had a cozy turnout for this Sunday’s Pokémon TCG League Challenge, the matches were anything but quiet. With some of our most dedicated local trainers in the room, every game was a high-stakes battle for those Championship Points.

Since the player pool was tight, there was no room for error. Every single match win drastically shifted the leaderboard.

The Breakdown

The day belonged to Matthew Sleimann and Mike Andersen, who both navigated the field to finish with strong 2-1 records. It came down to the thinnest of tiebreakers to separate the top two, proving that even in a smaller bracket, the strategy is top-tier.

A huge shoutout to Daniel Rise and Henrik Mogensen for keeping the pressure on until the very last turn.

Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Perfect Order Prerelease!

Perfect Order

We had a bit of a “Team Rocket” moment this week—a quarter of our prerelease kits were stolen, which has definitely thrown a wrench in the works. However, we refused to let it dampen the spirit at Nostalgic!

Even with the setback, our Mega Evolution: Perfect Order prerelease was a blast. We are officially set up, the hype is real, and the pulls have been absolute fire!

A massive congratulations to our top trainers who battled through the chaos! To make sure everyone was properly geared up, all participants received:

  • 1x Perfect Order Build & Battle Kit 🛠️
  • Extra Perfect Order Boosters 🃏
  • Official Prize Packs 🎁

⚠️ Important Notice: Next Week’s Event

Because of the stolen kits, we’ve had to make some tough calls:

  • Cancellations: Some registrations for next week have been cancelled. If you are affected, you should have already been notified.
  • Smaller Scale: Next week will be a smaller, more intimate prerelease event.

We hate that we have to scale back, but we appreciate this community standing by us while we deal with the “grunts” who took our stock!
