Epic Marathon Matches & A Champion Crowned: Recap of the Nostalgic Attack of the Vine! Set Championship

What an incredible weekend of Disney Lorcana action here in Billund! On Saturday, September 5th, 22 Illumineers gathered at Nostalgic on Butikstorvet to battle it out in our Attack of the Vine! Set Championship.

With exclusive promos on the line and an amazing community showing up to play, the energy in the room was electric from the very first lore gained.

The Stakes Were High

Players brought their absolute best to the Core Constructed format, battling through 5 grueling Swiss rounds to secure their spot in the coveted Top 8.

Everyone who participated walked away with a booster pack and a Non-Foil Rapunzel – Escaping the Tower promo. But the Top 8 were fighting for the shiny Foil versions of Rapunzel, and the ultimate prize for our champion: the exclusive Championship Playmat featuring Mike & Sulley!

Marathon Matches in the Top Cut

Once the Swiss rounds concluded, we moved into the single-elimination Top Cut. Because the top cut was untimed, we were treated to some absolute marathon games! It was a true test of endurance, strategy, and deck mastery as our finalists grinded out every single advantage they could find. The dedication and sportsmanship shown during these long, nail-biting matches were truly fantastic to watch.

A Special Shoutout to GamesWeb.dk

Before we dive into the standings, we want to give a massive thank you to Jeppe from GamesWeb.dk! Jeppe generously donated a surprise “Mystery 9th Place Prize” for the event. In a tournament where just missing the Top 8 cut can be heartbreaking, this was an awesome way to reward our 9th place finisher, Malene Kisum (Obimis). Thank you, Jeppe!

Record-Breaking Turnout! OP-17 Prerelease & 4th Anniversary Event Recap

What an unforgettable night for our One Piece Card Game community! On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, we hosted our official OP-17: The World’s Strongest Warriors Prerelease & 4th Anniversary Event, hitting an all-time venue record of 37 participants!

To ensure everyone had a fantastic evening, we split the tournament into two distinct brackets: one for seasoned competitors and another dedicated to Beginners & Under-18 players. Between cracking open brand-new OP-17 booster packs and handing out 4th Anniversary promos—including the P-110 Monkey.D.Luffy Leader card and World United DON!! cards—the hype in the room was unmatched.

Pokémon TCG Worlds Celebration 2026: A Weekend of Fierce Competition

The energy was electric at Nostalgic this past Sunday as Pokémon Trainers from across the region gathered for our Nostalgic TCG Worlds Celebration! With 100 DKK on the line and a host of exclusive prizes up for grabs, competitors across three age divisions brought their best decks and sharpest strategies.

The day kicked off early, with registration opening at 09:30 before the first round commenced at 10:00. To ensure a smooth and action-packed day, we utilized a time-optimized format. The Swiss Rounds were contested in a Best-of-1 format with a 30-minute time limit, keeping the pressure high and the matches fast-paced. As we moved into the Top Cut, the tension mounted with Best-of-3 matches and a generous 75-minute limit, allowing the true masters of the game to shine.

Every competitor who participated walked away a winner, receiving a fantastic participation bundle:

Epic Battles & Big Prizes: Recap of the Malmö Game Week Bye Qualifier

It was a fantastic day filled with intense matches, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier Disney Lorcana gameplay! On Saturday, August 15th, Nostalgic in Billund hosted one of this summer’s biggest local Lorcana tournaments.

With 27 Illumineers battling it out across 60-minute Best-of-3 Swiss rounds and an intense 70-minute Top 8 cut, the stakes were high. Players were competing not just for an incredible prize pool of Set 6–8 goodies, but for the highly coveted Round 1 Bye at the upcoming Malmö Game Week.

The Grand Champion

A massive congratulations to Pierre Christensen (MakavelliHs) for an absolutely dominant, undefeated run! Finishing with 22 points and a 7-0-1 record, Pierre secured 1st place and took home the Grand Prize: a full Sealed Case (4 Displays), 16 Attack of the Vine! Booster Packs and the Round 1 Bye for Malmö Game Week.

Bonus Prizes & Raffles

The Top 8 weren’t the only ones walking away with great loot! Thanks to the incredible turnout, we were able to distribute a wealth of extra prizes:

Best Under-18 Player: Walked away with a full Booster Box and a brand-new Playmat!
Lucky Raffles: Players outside the top cut were entered into a massive raffle where we gave away 4 Troves, 5 Gift Sets, and 3 Playmats. Plus, every single participant received at least 1 booster pack just for playing!

A huge thank you to everyone who traveled to Nostalgic in Billund to play. As a reminder: Everyone is still welcome to participate in Malmö Game Week! While Pierre earned the Round 1 Bye (which may be passed down), the main event is open to all.

They showed in many ways that they care about their customers. Always in the mood for a chat and very passionate about TGC and Pokémon. Wahnsinnig toller Laden! Eine riesige Auswahl an Pokemon Karten. Sowohl als Sets, als auch single Karten. Alle Karten sind auf englisch. Es gibt aber auch chinesische Sets und seltene Banger, wie Evolving Skies Einzelpacks. Wer in Billund ist, sollte auf jeden Fall vorbei schauen. Und ja, die Preise sind teurer als in Deutschland. Aber ihr bekommt englische Karten und seid im Urlaub. In ander n Spielzeugläden waren die Karten übrigens nicht günstiger.
