First Pokémon TCG League Challenge at Nostalgic – July 2025

On Sunday, 27th July 2025, we hosted our very first Pokémon TCG League Challenge at Nostalgic in Billund!
It was an exciting day filled with intense matchups, great sportsmanship, and the start of a strong community of competitive Pokémon players here at the store.

This League Challenge was played over three Swiss rounds in the Masters Division. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this milestone event – we’re already looking forward to the next one!

Prize packs were awarded to top finishers, and eligible participants also earned Championship Points toward the Pokémon TCG Championship Series.

After six weeks of unforgettable racing action, strategy, and sealed deck battles, our Chocobo Racing Series Finale brought everything to a head with one last showdown with double points. The finale was packed with high-level plays, tight matches, and plenty of surprises, and our Top 4 finishers walked away with exclusive Magic: The Gathering merchandise as their prize!

🔥 Glen Poulsen completed a flawless 4-0 sweep, earning the top spot with an 80% Game Win rate.
👏 Nikki Hauge and Jens Kristian Lassen also fought hard to reach the podium, each finishing 3-1.
🌟 Special mentions to Julie Eis Hauge for the highest OMW% (75%) and Nicklas Heimá for a huge 67.9% OGW%, despite a tough final round.

Last night we wrapped up an incredible Store Championship event featuring the Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy set — and what a ride it was!

With free entry and exclusive promos worth over €200 up for grabs (Participation, Top 8, and Winner Promos), the stakes were high and the competition fierce. Over four thrilling rounds, the leaderboard changed constantly — even heading into the final round, three different players were still in the running for the win!

The Top 8 battle was just as intense, with every match mattering until the final moment.
