Record-Breaking Turnout! OP-17 Prerelease & 4th Anniversary Event Recap

What an unforgettable night for our One Piece Card Game community! On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, we hosted our official OP-17: The World’s Strongest Warriors Prerelease & 4th Anniversary Event, hitting an all-time venue record of 37 participants!

To ensure everyone had a fantastic evening, we split the tournament into two distinct brackets: one for seasoned competitors and another dedicated to Beginners & Under-18 players. Between cracking open brand-new OP-17 booster packs and handing out 4th Anniversary promos—including the P-110 Monkey.D.Luffy Leader card and World United DON!! cards—the hype in the room was unmatched.

Experienced Players Division

The main field was packed with high-level play, but Benllo dominated the competition, finishing undefeated with a perfect 15-point run to claim top honors!

OP-16 Prerelease Double-Feature: Tuesday Night Recap!

What a massive Tuesday night of One Piece! On June 9, 2026, we hosted not one, but two prerelease events for the highly anticipated One Piece Card Game OP16 set. The energy was high, the pulls were wild, and the competition was fierce across both flights.

Whether you were testing out new deck mechanics or just hunting for those beautiful alt-arts, thank you to everyone who came out to play. Let’s dive into how the Pods shook out!

🏆 Pod A: Tasty Takes the Crown!

Pod A saw a dominant, undefeated performance from Tasty, who cleared the field with a perfect 9 points. Hot on their heels was a massive tie at 6 points, where Tobias Hansen secured the second-place spot thanks to a blistering 66.7% Opponent Win Percentage (OMW%).

🏆 Pod B: Le Dominates an Absolute Logjam

Over in Pod B, Le mirrored the perfect run from Pod A, sweeping the tournament for a clean 9 points. Behind our champion, we witnessed an absolute chaotic logjam in the standings: six players finished with identical 6-point records!

A massive shoutout to Kriar, Keannni, and Carnage90, who finished in an exact mathematical three-way tie for 3rd place down to the exact decimal point on tiebreakers.

Unchained and Unstoppable: Recapping Our Extra Grand Battle

One Piece Card Game Extra Grand Battle Winners

The dust has finally settled from our One Piece Card Game Extra Grand Battle, which went down right here at Nostalgic this past Tuesday, May 19!

With the launch of Bandai’s highly anticipated Extra Regulation format, our local players finally got the chance to throw out the standard deck-building restrictions. Aside from a microscopic ban list, every single card ever released was legal for play. The result? A wild, unpredictable, and brilliantly chaotic Tuesday night that pushed our store’s meta to its absolute limits across 5 intense rounds.

If you missed out on the action, here is exactly how the leaderboard shook out and who walked away with those incredibly rare serial-numbered prizes.

Shoutout to the Mid-Table Grinders: Positions 9 through 12 (Benllo, ShenkXt, Carnage90, and Thiim) all put up an incredible fight, finishing strong with 9 points each and just barely missing the Top 8 cut-off on tiebreakers!

Walking Away with the Booty: The Prizes

The stakes were sky-high for a weeknight event, and Bandai did not disappoint with the tournament kits. Our players didn’t just play for pride—they fought for some of the most exclusive cardboard in the game right now.

The Attendance: Every pirate who docked at our store took home an Event Pack Vol.8 just for testing their mettle in the Extra Regulation waters.
The Elite Eight: Our Top 8 players doubled their haul with an additional Event Pack Vol.8.
The Fantastic Four: Anton, Eren, Vin D. Sell, and PayzBack all secured the highly coveted, beautiful Extra Grand Battle for Stores 2026 OP14-033 Perona promo card.
The Pirate King: By conquering our store’s bracket undefeated, Anton claimed the ultimate prize—the EB02-006 Yamato Serial Number Card. A truly one-of-a-kind trophy for a flawless performance!

Event Recap: ONE PIECE Card Game Store Championship (Season 1)

History was made this past Sunday at Nostalgic! We were incredibly honored to be the only store in Denmark hand-selected by Bandai to host the CS26-27 Store Championship for Europe. The energy was electric as Pirates from across the region gathered to battle for those elusive Regional invites.

⚓ The Spoils of War

Every pirate who entered the fray for the 100 DKK entry fee walked away with a heavy chest of loot, including:

2x OP15 Booster Packs
1x Event Pack Vol. 6

As the tournament progressed and the competition narrowed, the rewards grew legendary:

Tournament Highlights & Meta Analysis

The tournament saw a dominant performance by Benllo, who secured a perfect run with 12 points, showcasing a deep understanding of the new Warlord-centric mechanics. The battle for the remaining top spots was incredibly fierce, with four players finishing at 9 points; PepSimon eventually clinched second place due to a superior Opponent Win Percentage (OMW%) of 68.8%.

Looking Ahead

The full release of The Azure Sea’s Seven [OP14-EB04] is scheduled for January 16, 2026. This set is a landmark for the English version of the game, as it includes several cards from the Japanese EB-04 set before their standard release cycle. Make sure to grab your booster boxes early to hunt for the elusive Manga Rare Dracule Mihawk and prepare for the upcoming Store Championships.

They showed in many ways that they care about their customers. Always in the mood for a chat and very passionate about TGC and Pokémon. I would describe their collection of graded and ungraded cards as: always changing but always excellent!

Wahnsinnig toller Laden! Eine riesige Auswahl an Pokemon Karten. Sowohl als Sets, als auch single Karten. Alle Karten sind auf englisch. Es gibt aber auch chinesische Sets und seltene Banger, wie Evolving Skies Einzelpacks. Wer in Billund ist, sollte auf jeden Fall vorbei schauen. Und ja, die Preise sind teurer als in Deutschland. Aber ihr bekommt englische Karten und seid im Urlaub. In ander n Spielzeugläden waren die Karten übrigens nicht günstiger.
