What an incredible Saturday at Nostalgic in Billund! On July 25th, 16 passionate card gamers gathered at our store at Butikstorvet 14C for a major milestone: our first-ever Riftbound: League of Legends TCG event!
The hype surrounding the Vendetta — Pre-Rift set was electric, and with a sold-out 16-player cap, the atmosphere in the shop was buzzing from start to finish.
Unboxing & Deck Building
Every player received an official Pre-Rift Player Kit, packed with:
- 1 Mini Pre-Constructed Deck (15 cards featuring a Champion Legend & Champion Unit)
- 5 Vendetta Booster Packs
- 1 Exclusive Pre-Rift Promo Card
Players had 50 minutes to open their packs, evaluate their pulls, and assemble a 50-card deck to pilot through the tournament. The Pre-Rift format put everyone on equal footing, making for a fun, accessible, and strategic deck-building session for new and veteran TCG players alike.
The Battles & Prizes
The tournament spanned 4 Swiss rounds of fast-paced, Best-of-1 matches (30 minutes each).
Every participant received a guaranteed Riftbound participation booster pack at the end of the event, with the top 8 players earning an additional booster pack for their strong performance.
