Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy Prerelease at Nostalgic

Magic: The Gathering FINAL FANTASY Prerelease

Despite the short notice and last week’s unexpected cancellation due to shipping delays, we were proud to host our very first Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy Prerelease event at Nostalgic!

Magic Final Fantasy Prerelease Pack

Each participant received an official Prerelease Kit, which included:

  • 6x Final Fantasy Play Boosters
  • 1x Promo Card
  • 1x Spindown Die
  • Bonus extras to enhance their prerelease experience

In appreciation of their support and enthusiasm, at the conclusion of the event every participant also received:

  • An extra Prelease Final Fantasy spindown die, and
  • 3 additional Final Fantasy Play Boosters – free of charge!

The event ran in a friendly 4-round Swiss format, and the games were competitive, fun, and full of Final Fantasy flair. Congratulations to Glen, who went undefeated with a dominant 4-0-0 record!

The Magic: The Gathering x Final Fantasy set officially launches on Thursday, 6th June from 12pm! We’ll have plenty of Play Boosters for general purchase and sealed deck events available from day one.

This release will also be in-store only, giving our local players early access.

One Piece Card Game

We hosted our first casual One Piece night on Tuesday, 13th May – and it was fantastic seeing so many new faces at the tables!

We’re currently awaiting approval to become an official Bandai TCG+ store, which will allow us to host sanctioned One Piece Organized Play right here in Billund.

Our first shipment of One Piece products is also on the way – stay tuned for updates!

A new galaxy has arrived at Nostalgic
We now stock Star Wars: Unlimited – including Jump to Lightspeed Boosters and Carbonite products, with more sets arriving as they release.

We’re also working hard behind the scenes to launch Organized Play events for the SWU community.

Our First Month at Nostalgic – and What’s Coming Next!

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since we opened the doors to Nostalgic!
We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support we’ve received so far – from people travelling to visit us from all over Denmark, to tourists visiting LEGO House who have stopped by, made purchases, and even told us they plan to visit again!

One of our proudest achievements so far is our huge graded card wall – over 400 graded cards on display and in stock! It’s probably the biggest in Denmark and quite possibly one of the biggest in Europe. Thanks to buying entire collections, it stays fully stocked with exciting, rare, and high-quality cards.

It’s not just Pokémon anymore – you’ll now find Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece cards appearing on our shelves too!
Our seating area with 32 spaces is already buzzing, and as Organized Play grows, we’re planning to expand it even further.

What’s coming up?

  • Magic: The Gathering fans, check out our calendar! We have exciting Final Fantasy events and Magic Prereleases lined up!
  • Pokémon Trainers, get ready for even bigger and better League Events, with amazing promotional items and the upcoming launch of Destined Rivals! Don’t forget to visit our Pokémon calendar too.

We’re also doubling the amount of stock and the range of products we offer over the coming months – bringing in even more variety across Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, Digimon, and more.

And that’s not all – we are currently exploring offering a Card Grading Service and expect to have an update for you in around two weeks!

Finally, we’re proud to say that every single kroner made so far has been reinvested straight back into the store. No salaries, no profits taken – just a full commitment to making Nostalgic better every day. We also remain one of (if not the) cheapest providers of Pokémon products in all of Denmark.

Thank you for being part of our journey. This is just the beginning!
