Record-Breaking Attendance at the Lorwyn Eclipsed Prerelease

Last Friday, January 16th, marked a significant milestone for our community. We hosted our largest single prerelease to date, with 33 players joining us for the Lorwyn Eclipsed event. The energy in the room was high as participants battled through a mammoth six Swiss rounds of play.

This event served as an excellent stress test for the store’s infrastructure, from our booking systems to general event organization. We appreciate everyone’s patience and participation as we continue to refine the experience. Moving forward, we are committed to using the lessons learned from this large-scale turnout to improve the tournament experience for every player.

Upcoming Events

If you missed out on the Friday action or want another chance to explore the new set, we have two exciting opportunities coming up:

Final Prerelease: Thursday, January 22nd at 5:00 PM. This is expected to be a smaller, more relaxed event-perfect for those looking to enjoy the set in a low-pressured attended environment.
Weekly Booster Drafts: Starting next Friday, we will host weekly drafts every Friday. These events will feature a season-long points system. By participating throughout the Lorwyn season, you can accumulate points to earn special prizes on top of the standard participation and performance rewards.
Casual Play: As always, if our paid limited events don’t tickle your fancy you are always welcome to attend and use our tables. Throughout Friday’s and Saturday’s Magic players are always in attendance looking for others to play with.

FNM Report: Avatar: The Last Airbender Booster Draft

Friday marked the end of an era as we hosted the final Limited event for the Avatar: The Last Airbender set. From mastering the four elements to navigating the Spirit World, this set has been an absolute blast to draft over the Christmas months.

As we bid a fond “Yip Yip!” to Aang and the gang, we look forward to next week when we enter the twilight of the fae with Lorwyn Eclipse! Our highly anticipated Prerelease kicks off next Friday, and we can’t wait to see you there.

Every participant tonight earned double points and walked away with exclusive promo cards, and our top finishers for the draft earned themselves Play Boosters. Our overall draft winner also took home a special extra promo to commemorate the final Avatar event!

FNM League – Avatar: The Last Airbender Booster Draft (19 December)

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this week’s Friday Night Magic! The four nations clashed in a spectacular Booster Draft, and the results from the evening are in. Congratulations to Glen Poulsen for taking the top spot this week with a clean 3-0-0 record and taking home two additional winner pool Play Boosters. This store is great! The owners were super friendly and helpful every time I visited and they provided clear communication when I submitted some of my cards for grading (see bottom row). They showed in many ways that they care about their customers. Always in the mood for a chat and very passionate about TGC and Pokémon. I would describe their collection of graded and ungraded cards as: always changing but always excellent!

Wahnsinnig toller Laden! Eine riesige Auswahl an Pokemon Karten. Sowohl als Sets, als auch single Karten. Alle Karten sind auf englisch. Es gibt aber auch chinesische Sets und seltene Banger, wie Evolving Skies Einzelpacks. Wer in Billund ist, sollte auf jeden Fall vorbei schauen. Und ja, die Preise sind teurer als in Deutschland. Aber ihr bekommt englische Karten und seid im Urlaub. In ander n Spielzeugläden waren die Karten übrigens nicht günstiger.
