Magic in the Air: Recapping the Wilds Unknown Prerelease!

The ink has barely dried on our latest Disney Lorcana: Wilds Unknown Prerelease, and what a magical evening it was! Last Friday, May 8th, our shop was buzzing with excitement as Illumineers gathered for the debut of the very first official prerelease kits.

The energy was electric as players cracked open their kits, discovering new glimmers and testing out fresh strategies in our Sealed format. Every participant walked away with their exclusive prerelease kit, a Wilds Unknown booster pack, and a special Disney Lorcana pin to commemorate the event.

Pokémon TCG League Cup: A Tiebreaker Finish!

Perfect Order

The Nostalgic Pokémon TCG League Cup (April – May) came to a thrilling conclusion this weekend, and it’s safe to say the finish was one for the history books. After seven grueling rounds of play, the standings were so tight that a final round tiebreaker ultimately decided the championship.

In a field where every attachment and every prize card mattered, the math proved just as intense as the matches themselves.

The Tiebreaker Breakdown

The final round delivered a “photo finish.” While Julius Mo Krag ended with the highest total points (13), the tiebreaker mechanics—focused on the strength of schedule—crowned Finn Lasse Fries as the top player, taking the first prize card in the final round. Special mention goes to Daniel Rise, whose staggering 61% Opponents’ Win Percentage (the highest in the room) proved he fought through the toughest bracket of the day to secure his Top 8 spot.

🎁 Prizing & Rewards

Whether players were battling at the top tables or testing out new deck builds, everyone went home with some serious loot:

  • For All Trainers: In the spirit of the game, every participant received 1 Perfect Order Booster and 1 Prize Pack.
  • The Top Cut: Our Top 8 finishers and age group winners earned a surplus of additional Perfect Order Boosters and Prize Packs to power up their next decks.
  • The Ultimate Prize: A massive congratulations to our Age Group Champions, who took home the prestigious Champion Playmat—the ultimate symbol of victory this season!

Victory and Valor: Nostalgic Pokémon TCG League Challenge Recap

Perfect Order

The road to the World Championships heated up this past weekend at the Nostalgic Pokémon TCG League Challenge. On April 26, local Trainers gathered to battle for Championship Points, prestige, and—of course—those sweet, sweet Prize Packs.

The Leaderboard: Peter Haagen Sweeps the Field

It was a masterclass in strategy from Peter Haagen, who finished the day with a flawless 3-0-0 record. While Peter took a comfortable lead, the race for the remaining podium spots was a tie-breaker nail-biter. Lone Overgaard secured second place thanks to a formidable Opponents’ Win Percentage, narrowly edging out Chris Hilleborg.

Loot & Legends

Beyond the competitive standings, it was a big day for collectors. Every participant walked away with Play! Pokémon Prize Packs, and the Top 3 players expanded their collections even further with additional winning packs.

As a special tournament bonus, players were allowed to snag an Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle for just 299 DKK—a perfect way to hunt for those elusive secret rares and meta-relevant pulls.

Looking Ahead: The League Cup is Calling!

Wizards & Wonders: Strixhaven Booster Draft Recap

Friday Night Magic

After a whirlwind week of packed-out Prerelease events, things took a more intimate turn this past Friday at 5:00 PM. While the hall was a little quieter than the “standing room only” vibes of earlier in the week, the competition for the Secrets of Strixhaven Booster Draft was no less fierce.

Drafting is the ultimate test of a mage’s intuition, and with two full-capacity Prereleases already under our belts, the meta for the new set is starting to take shape.

Event Recap: ONE PIECE Card Game Store Championship (Season 1)

History was made this past Sunday at Nostalgic! We were incredibly honored to be the only store in Denmark hand-selected by Bandai to host the CS26-27 Store Championship for Europe. The energy was electric as Pirates from across the region gathered to battle for those elusive Regional invites.

⚓ The Spoils of War

Every pirate who entered the fray for the 100 DKK entry fee walked away with a heavy chest of loot, including:

  • 2x OP15 Booster Packs
  • 1x Event Pack Vol. 6

As the tournament progressed and the competition narrowed, the rewards grew legendary:

  • Top 8: Earned the exclusive Premium Matte Usopp Promotion Sleeves and an Event Pack Vol. 8.
  • Top 4: Secured an additional Event Pack Vol. 8.
  • Top 2: Walked away with the prestigious Regional Finalist Card Set 2026 Vol. 1.
