On March 28th, 2025, Nostalgic officially opened its doors for the very first time. Back then, we started modestly — with 4 display cases, 3 display aisles, 1 display stand, and 4 tables.
Fast forward just six months, and the transformation has been incredible. Today, our store features 8 display cases (that’s 864 graded cards!), 6 display aisles, 3 display stands, 8 tables (offering permanent comfortable seating for 40 players), and even a baby changing station — all thanks to the continued support of our amazing community.
Your enthusiasm has allowed us to grow faster than we ever imagined. And we’re not stopping here. We’re already planning the next phase – taking inspiration from some of the best card stores across the world, from Japan to the United States, to make Nostalgic a true destination for collectors and players alike.
Our goal is simple: to make Nostalgic the pinnacle of trading card stores – a welcoming home for newcomers and seasoned collectors, casual fans and competitive players.
What truly makes Nostalgic special is our community. It’s a diverse mix of all ages and backgrounds – from local Danish residents and international families living in Billund, to tourists and even players who travel weekly from countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, and Norway just to take part in our events and visit the store (wow!).
