Pokémon TCG League Challenge – September 2026 Results & Recap

Another Pokémon TCG League Challenge is complete at Nostalgic — and this one set a new record!
On Sunday, 27 September 2026, 20 players joined us in Billund for five rounds of competitive Pokémon TCG action, making this our highest-ever attendance for a League Challenge at Nostalgic.
With Championship Points, Prize Packs and Pitch Black booster packs up for grabs, it was fantastic to see our competitive Pokémon community continue to grow.
With a 50 DKK entry fee, every participant received a Pitch Black Booster Pack and a Pokémon Prize Pack simply for taking part, while the Top 10 received additional Prize Packs based on their final standings.
Final Result
After five rounds of Swiss, Mike Andersen finished at the top of the standings with an undefeated 4–0–1 record and 13 match points.
Mike was the only player to complete all five rounds without a match loss, finishing one point ahead of both Yago Leal and Mihir Shanto.

Record League Challenge Attendance
With 20 players, this event became our largest Pokémon TCG League Challenge to date at Nostalgic.
It is a great milestone for the store and a reflection of how much the Pokémon community in and around Billund has grown.
From our weekly League sessions through to League Challenges and larger competitive events, we continue to see more players joining us, returning regularly and becoming part of the local organised play community.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this point.
Prize Support
We wanted every player to leave with something from the event.
For the 50 DKK entry fee, every participant received:
- 1× Pitch Black Booster Pack
- 1× Pokémon Prize Pack
On top of this, the Top 10 players received additional Prize Packs, with the number of packs increasing according to final placement.
This meant that every player received product for participating, while stronger tournament finishes were rewarded with additional prize support.
Five Rounds of Pokémon TCG
With 20 players taking part, the tournament ran for five rounds of Swiss.
The standings remained tight throughout the event. Behind Mike’s undefeated finish, both Yago Leal and Mihir Shantoended on impressive 4–1 records, while Patrick Fenger finished fourth with three wins, one loss and one draw.
Places fifth through tenth were especially close, with all six players finishing on 9 match points and 3–2 records. Final placement between them was therefore decided by tournament tiebreakers.

- Peter Haagen
All six also secured a place in the additional Top 10 Prize Pack payout.
